BURY will play host to York City tomorrow having lost six of their last seven win-less fixtures.

The Shakers, well-fancied for promotion this term, have dropped to ninth in the Sky Bet League Two table following the sorry sequence and are now four points adrift of the play-off positions.

David Flitcroft's men have suffered four successive league defeats, which represents their worst run since September 11.

At home, meanwhile, the Lancashire outfit's 1-1 FA Cup draw with Luton followed three defeats on the trot at Gigg Lane against Dagenham (0-2), Newport (1-3) and Tranmere (1-2).

Bury also went out of the Cup during a 1-0 defeat at Luton on Tuesday, leaving the club without a clean sheet in eight matches.

On-loan pair Adam El-Abd and Rob Milsom will both be back in contention after missing the Kenilworth Road trip.

Bristol City defender El-Abd played in an earlier round of the Cup for his parent club and Rotherham midfielder Milsom was refused permission to play in the competition by Millers boss Steve Evans.

Both are expected to earn recalls with El-Abd returning to a three-man defence probably in place of ex-Chorley centre-back Keil O'Brien, who made his full debut at Luton.

Milsom, meanwhile, will be challenging the likes of Kelvin Etuhu and Nicky Adams for a starting slot.

Bury's only current injury absentee is former Derby defender Pablo Mills.

At the other end of the pitch, strikers Daniel Nardiello (eight), Danny Rose (eight) and Ryan Lowe (seven) have plundered 23 goals between them but are all enduring barren runs at the moment.

Veteran Lowe, now 36, has failed to net in his last eight appearances, while ex-Manchester United forward Nardiello has scored just once in six matches and Rose once in eight.

As a consequence, on-loan Everton striker Hallam Hope could kick off tomorrow's fixture.

Bury (probable): Jalal, Cameron, El-Abd, McNulty, Mayor, Tutte, Etuhu, Milsom, Soares, Hope, Rose.
