A TEENAGER has been cautioned after a video showing a schoolgirl being assaulted was shared online.
The video, which was viewed more than a quarter of a million times on social media, showed a 15-year-old girl from Pocklington being repeatedly kicked and kneed to the head by another girl as about a dozen others sat and watched.
Humberside Police investigated and urged the public not to share the video further, and said on Friday their investigation had ended.
A spokesman said: “A 15-year-old girl has been issued with a youth caution in connection with the incident.”
