NORTH Yorkshire Police want to build a new “exhibit store” at York’s Fulford Road police station.

A planning application has been submitted to the City of York Council, asking for permission to build a new two storey store and singe storey garage on the site of an existing single storey building.

York Press:

The new facility would have storage for exhibits, paper stores, garages and offices, and a separate exhibit store for major crimes.

The new building will sit on the footprint of the old building with an extension to the north and east, to reduce impact on the car park and “blue light” vehicle access.
