DETECTIVES are re-appealing for the public's help to find a wanted man from York.

Stephen Kenny Ashes, 34, was originally sentenced in December 2006 for aggravated burglary and theft. He was released on licence in 2013.

In January of this year, Ashes was charged with a further 11 new offences, including possession of class A and B drugs, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, failure to stop, driving without due care and attention and a section 4 public order offence.

He failed to attend court and is wanted for recall to prison.

It is believed Ashes may be in the area of Woodlands Road, Lytham St Anne’s, Lancashire.

Anyone who thinks they might have seen Ashes, or who has any information about his whereabouts, is asked to phone North Yorkshire Police on 101, press 1 and speak to the Force Control Room.

Alternatively, phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
