FIREFIGHTERS have tackled blazes at two agricultural buildings in North Yorkshire.
Fire crews from Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Helmsley were called to Cropton at 1.44am today, where a pheasant hatchery was on fire. The blaze destroyed 15,000 eggs.
An agricultural barn containing about 200 bales of straw was on fire yesterday at a farm near Aldbrough. Fire crews from Boroughbridge, Ripon, Knaresborough, Harrogate attended the fire.
