A SUPERMARKET worker has been arrested in York on suspicion of fraud and theft.
The woman, in her 50s, works at the Asda store in Jockey Lane at Monks Cross, North Yorkshire Police said.
A spokeswoman said she was arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation and theft by employee.
The arrest was made just after noon last Friday, police said on Tuesday.
The suspect has been released on police bail while investigations continue.
