Firefighters called to bungalow blaze
A FIRE caused smoke damage to a bungalow in Boroughbridge last night.
Firefighters went to the property in Springfield Grove just before midnight and found the fire had damaged a carpet, music centre, table and recycling bin, with smoke damage to the rest of the property.
Crews put out the fire and assisted paramedics in treating an elderly occupant.
