A TEENAGER has been kept in hospital overnight after the car he was driving overturned on York's ring road.
The 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old passenger were in the black Ford Fiesta which flipped over while driving around the roundabout on the A1237 and the A19.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash at 11.10pm. The road remained obstructed till 2am.
The driver suffered a cut to his face and whiplash and was kept in hospital. While the 17-year-old boy in the car did not appear injured he was also taken to York Hospital for a check-up.
No arrests have been made, North Yorkshire Police said.
