A YORK man suffered injuries to his face in an unprovoked attack at a York nightclub..
The 21-year-old man was hit by what police believe was a glass, while on the dance floor at Kuda in Clifford Street at about 2am on Saturday, August 23, and suffered cuts to his left eye and the right side of his forehead which required stitches.
Anyone who saw the incident should contact North Yorkshire Police, especially a woman who returned the victim's jacket to him while he was being treated by paramedics outside the club.
Detective Constable Kevin Goodman, of York CID, said: "This was a vicious, unprovoked attack and I am appealing to any witnesses to get in touch and help to identify the man responsible."
